Here, Bauporte developed an all-glass revolving door (Model CFV 3000 MX) in consultation with Scheldebouw in Middelburg, in which the glass top is a structural part of the Scheldebouw facade.
The very small formed sections and the extra transparent glass surfaces make the revolving door a unique solution.
The facade has a vertical glass fin which comes out just in the middle of the revolving door.
Making our glass top in the shape of a horizontal “Napoleon hat”….
…and thus connecting the fins next to the revolving door allowed us to meet all of the client’s wishes.
